Hardware Removal Cost

As part of the cancellation process, please be advised that Cartrack NZ requires the removal of tracking units from your vehicles once your subscription has ended. A removal fee of $50(ex GST) per unit will be applied. If you have outright purchased the tracking unit and opt to retain it, you are free to do so. Our technicians will oversee the removal process and provide you with the tracking unit if you decide to keep it.

In instances involving rental units, if the vehicle has been in an accident leading to damage to the unit, the removal fee will be waived. However, a replacement fee will be charged for the loss of the unit: $200 (ex GST) for a Powered GPS Tracking unit or $600 (ex GST) for a Smart Camera unit.
